With a long history of delivering high-quality solutions in window replacement, solar energy, roof replacement and charging box installation, Grönborgs faced the challenge of digitizing their sales process to further improve the customer experience and streamline internal workflows. The solution was found in Molnify, which was able to transform Grönborg’s complex Excel models into user-friendly web applications.
By implementing Molnify's technology in our business, we have not only been able to streamline all processes from first customer contact to finished assembly in one and the same place, it has also led to us having a much better overview of how many projects are ongoing and in which phase they are in and about details such as whether all the wood has been ordered and who is responsible for different parts.
And because everything is stored in SQL tables, we can also get statistics on the number of projects, total value and keep track of all the details and see total statistics directly in the apps.

From idea to web app: Grönborg's sales transformation with Molnify
Grönborgs bygg already had a number of excel files in which calculations to calculate prices for roof replacement, window replacement, installation of solar cells were made. It was a cumbersome process that required a lot of Excel skills and generated many files that were saved (and over-saved, or duplicates were created). By converting the excel files into web applications in molnify, the project managers got a much simpler tool that could be used directly on the tablet or phone when you are out with the customer. All quotes are then exported to a pdf that is sent to the customer, with complete information about the project.
Solution
The applications have also ensured that all information on the project is available within the app. There, Grönborgs byggg’s assembly manager Kim Eriksson then exports all the imaginable files he needs as excel or pdf. Examples of some files created in the apps are:
- purchase orders to various suppliers
- accounting appendices needed for reporting to the tax authority
- file to the fitter to know which window materials such as lining and blinds belong to
- design information for the installation of solar cells
“From the time a project manager has started discussing prices to the completion of the assembly, we now have a firm grasp of every sub-process. Every time something changes in a project, we receive notifications and when we update the status of a project, the customer receives an automatically generated text message with the latest information about what is happening in the project, which ensures good communication and satisfied customers,” says Kim.
